It’s official, I have lost my mind. I have signed up for nanowrimo.
For those of you who don’t know, nanowrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month, a global project. On 1st November, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on 30 November.
So basically I have less than two weeks to finish my self edits for book 2 and do as much prep and outlining as I can before diving into book 3 on 1st November.
Is it possible for me to w
rite 50,000 words in 30 days? I’m not going to lie, it feels rather overwhelming. I still have work and mummy duties, but I’m up for the challenge. This does mean that I’m going to have to stop the Dark Fire chapters on Wattpad for a while but if you were enjoying the story so far, don’t worry the Jackson brothers are never far from my mind so I’ll get back to in soon.
I wish I could say more about my plans as I’m hopeless at keeping secrets especially with exciting news but seeing as book 2 isn’t out yet, then there isn’t much I can say which is spoiler free. But trust me, I’m going to town with this one.
So get ready for a load of posts about word targets throughout November.
