It’s a bank holiday here in the UK. I’ll be spending mine attempting to write book 3, Alliance, whilst attempting to prevent a four-year-old from eating too many choccie eggs!

Freddie closed down Z10 and sat back on my bed. “We are so close to figuring all this out—I can feel it.”
“Whatever is going on, I would put money on Riley Miller being involved.” Freddie shot me a doubtful look. “Come on. He’s new to town, he’s all over Eliza. She can’t turn around without him being there.”
“Sounds familiar.”
I screwed my face up, not liking the comparison.
“Yes, and I was up to something. That just proves my point.”
“Maybe he just fancies Eliza. She’s gorgeous; I’m sure she has plenty of guys after her.”
I gaped at him, horrified. “Why would you say that to me?”
Freddie chuckled. “I’m just being logical. Not everything has to do with aliens.”
“Okay, well if he’s so squeaky clean then how come he doesn’t have any record on the government database? What do you and your logic say about that?”
